Customer had an abundance of older applications, workflows and processes , that were manually not integrated, inefficient, hurting productivity and profitability. HR/HCM, ERP, Corporate Finance & IT systems were in the midst of transition, being upgraded or sunset and not integrated. Corporate acquisitions, legacy employee turnover and limited IT resources hampered IT’s ability to support the business properly.
Softura provided C-Level Advisory Consulting and an Enterprise Architect worked with both Business and IT to survey and outline current state, understand and document business issues, technical constraints and streamline future state considering multiple scenarios for optimal short & long term gains. Softura designed & architected a common, global entperise, self-service custom application portal with organizational business unit master database, integrated RPA workflows and automated integrations with HR, ERP, Finance, Budgeting & Accounting, IT & Growth Operations.
Customer quickly understood the options, costs and positive outlook of future state roadmap without having to hire multiple C-level executive consultants. Softura worked with,- and on-behalf-of, customer’s business & IT to reimagine the customers’ core custom application security & infrastructure framework with a unified application portal (to start) as part of customer’s nitiative to retire technical debt. Softura developed a single enterprise platform “Enable”that supports a new Master Business Unit database that restricts access to a set of specific Business Units…. Applying User Access Controls for visibility and access to operational, reporting and security hierarchies used by dozens of applications throughout the customer’s application portfolio. It enables 24x7x365 end-user Self-Service-Management while integrating and automating existing legacy systems and processes including HR (employee & contractor ON/OFF-boarding, application & end-user Security, user provisioning & Identity & Access Management), Business Unit Master Data, Asset Management and integration with existing IT ticketing and help-desk processes.
